STEP INTO THE WILD: EXCLUSIVE ANIMAL EXPERIENCES ARE HERE!

Animal participation is always voluntary - it's up to the lions if they feel like participating.
YOUR TOUR GUIDE WILL REVIEW THESE RULES AND EXPECTATIONS WITH YOU PRIOR TO YOUR EXPERIENCE:

Do not touch or approach any fencing or barriers.

Remain silent during the training; questions will be allowed at the end of the experience.

Remain seated throughout the entire experience; once you are behind-the-scenes, you will not be permitted to exit the area until the end of the experience.

Your tour guide will remain at the African Lion Viewing at the Chai Pride Tea Co. Plaza for some time after the experience to help answer any questions that were not able to be asked while behind-the-scenes.
Want to meet a living dinosaur-descendent up close and feed him part of his daily diet?
The Cassowary Feed Experience runs daily from 10am-12pm at the Cassowary habitat beside Beulah’s Restaurant.

Our Education team will help introduce you to Dexter the Southern Cassowary, so that you can get a chance to learn about and feed the world’s third largest species of bird!
Animal participation is always voluntary - it's up to Dexter if he feels like grabbing lunch.
Want to make a new animal friend and learn about them by observing them up close?
The Ambassador Animal Meet & Greet runs every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 1pm in the Conservation Discovery Center.
Our Education team will introduce you to some of Binder Park Zoo’s animal ambassadors so that you can learn about them and see their amazing adaptations up close. Whether they are furry, feathered, scaled, or small, you are sure to enjoy meeting these awesome animals!
Animals are gathered by staff prior to the start of the experience. Animals presented are dependent upon factors such as animal availability and the animal’s choice to participate. As such, no specific animal is guaranteed to be shown. Snakes and insects/small invertebrates are part of the ambassador animal collection.
