I understand that this honorary naming does not pertain to a particular prairie dog at the zoo and does not indicate ownership of an animal. Instead, it is a symbolic gesture of support for the prairie dog town the mission of Binder Park Zoo as a whole. Proposed names are subject to final approval by zoo staff.
